Great Lakes Invitational Notes
Michigan and RPI met in the GLI on one prior occasion -- the Engineers won a 1985 semifinal. All-time, U-M trails RPI 3-7-1.
Michigan is 26-14 in the GLI semifinals. U-M is 8-4-1 in the third-place game, including a 5-0-0 mark vs. Michigan Tech.

Player Notes
Shawn Hunwick made just his second career appearance in the U-M net tonight. He entered the game at the start of the third period and made three saves on four shots. His career debut was on March 14, 2008, vs. Nebraska-Omaha when he made two saves in relief during a 10-1 win.
David Wohlberg scored his first goal in six games. He has three goals for the season.
Kevin Lynch scored his first career goal. The tally briefly tied the game at 3-3 in the third period.
Carl Hagelin recorded his fifth multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist. Hagelin leads U-M with 10 goals and 18 points.
