Series Notes
In the all-time series between the Wolverines and the RedHawks, Michigan falls to 68-21-3, as Miami gets just its fourth win at Yost Ice Arena (4-47-1).
Streaks and Peaks
Carl Hagelin's assist tonight marks his third consecutive game with a point, all of which were helpers. This also marks Hagelin's 60th career point.
With a goal tonight, freshman Chris Brown adds his fourth point in three games (3-1-4). He now also leads the team with five goals.
Louie Caporusso improved his point streak to three games by aiding in Brown's goal. His line now stands at 1-3-4.
Team Notes
The Wolverines are 0-2-0 against ranked opponents this season. U-M lost at No. 3 Boston University (3-2) on Oct. 24.
Chad Langlais attempted Michigan's first penalty shot of the season, and the first since Louie Caporusso's in Oct. 18, 2008. The last Wolverine to score a penalty shot goal was Jason Ryznar vs. St. Lawrence on Oct. 16, 2004.
