Series Notes
The Wolverines are 73-34-3 all-time vs. Bowling Green. U-M improves to 5-0-0 at neutral sites vs. the Falcons.
U-M and BGSU have split four of their last five series since the start of the 2005-06 season. The teams will meet twice more this season -- in Bowling Green, Ohio, on Feb. 4, and in Ann Arbor on Feb. 9.
Team Notes
Tonight's victory snapped a five-game losing streak for the Wolverines that dated back to Nov. 6. It had been U-M's longest losing skid since a six-game span in the fall of 1988.
Michigan scored three goals in one period for the sixth time this season. Including tonight, the feat has been achieved four times in the first period of play.
Player Notes
Chris Brown took over the team lead in points with a goal and an assist tonight to give him a 6-4-10 line. The freshman also leads the Wolverines in goals.
David Wohlberg has a point in four of the last five games (1-4-5). He had two assists tonight.
Louie Caporusso has a point in back-to-back games (1-2-3). He had two assists tonight.
Brian Lebler scored his first goal since Oct. 10 at Alaska-Anchorage. The senior has two goals for the season.
A.J. Treais potted his second goal of the season. He had not scored since Oct. 22 vs. Niagara.
Brandon Burlon's assist was his first point since Oct. 10 at Alaska-Anchorage. He has a pair of assists for the season.
Anthony Ciraulo made his first appearance of the season; he lined up as the fourth-line center. Ciraulo's last game was March 14, 2009, vs. Western Michigan.
