The U-M women's gymnastics team is preparing to compete at the NCAA Championships Thursday through Saturday, April 26-28, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nationals begin with preliminary competition on Thursday, with six teams advancing to the Super Six team finals on Friday. The individual championships conclude the meet on Saturday. WEDNESDAY: Practice Day The Wolverines practice on the competiton floor and face the media at the press conference and in the pre-meet television interviews. | |
THURSDAY: Team Prelims The Wolverines learn the names of three of the Super Six participants following the afternoon session and prepare to compete in the evening with national title hopes on the line. | |
FRIDAY: Super Six Finals Michigan looks to be one of the last six teams standing, taking a shot at the program's first NCAA title. | |
SATURDAY: Individual Event Finals The team enjoys the annual NCAA Championships brunch and autograph session while the individuals who qualified for event finals prepare themselves for the evening competition. | |
