Michigan Head Coach Bev Plocki
On the meet ... "I would have liked not to count a fall on floor, but it was a great night for our seniors. It's always emotional and bittersweet. If we can get Lindsey Bruck to come back next year she'll get to do it all over again. We were rockin' through the first two events. It was a great crowd. I can't say enough about our seniors.
Senior Clare Flannery
On Senior Night ... "It was an exciting night and a special one. We want to say it was just another meet but it was emotional. I tried not to cry by I did. We all had to keep our emotions in check. It was good to go out on a high note -- my whole year has been a high note. We're going to go out to Big Tens and compete and then come back here for Regionals. I'm glad Regionals are here. It's great to compete in front of your home fans."
Senior Carol McNamara
On Senior Night ... "It was emotional tonight. I've done gymnastics my whole life. When my coaches came up to me during the ceremony I lost it. I've had a fun and memorable year. All of us came so much closer as a team dealing with all the adversity we have."
Senior Lindsey Bruck
On Senior Night and the chance that she will be back for a fifth season ... "It was a great night. We hit on a lot of events despite the struggles we've gone through. I've never seen a team like this before. We're still trying to work things out for next year and every day it looks better and better. Hopefully I'll be back next year. It's been a great four years and this year's seniors have really grown. There's nobody closer to me than Carol (McNamara) and Clare (Flannery)."
