Q U O T E S
Michigan Head Coach Mike McGuire
On the meet ... "We were better than we were last year. We were running the same course that we was running last year, and we got over a minute improvement from (Ana) Gjesdal, about a 1:25 improvement from (Erin) Webster, 1:15 improvement from (Arianne) Fields. (Nicole) Edwards is continuing to run well, so it was very encouraging. We ran as a nice pack. Kind of halfway through the race, it was our pack and three or four for Michigan State, and then we just kind of kept the hammer down, kept our pace, and overall had a great race."
On the upcoming week ... "We're off next week, so we're going to get in a solid week of training. They know it's going to be a hard week of training. We have two weeks to prepare for Notre Dame, the competition will start to pick up with more teams and faster runners, but our training will be there accordingly."
