Wolverines Drop Exhibition Relay Dual to Florida State

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- A day after the No. 16 University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team defeated No. 20 Florida State as part of a double-dual meet, the Seminoles earned a 103-47 win over the host Wolverines in an exhibition relay meet Saturday afternoon (Nov. 8) in Canham Natatorium.
The Wolverines posted only one relay title during the 10-event meet as the foursome of Kaitlyn Brady (Wilmington, Del./Mount Pleasant HS), Abby Seskevics (Grand Haven, Mich./Grand Haven HS), Lindsey Smith (Dexter, Mich./Dexter HS) and Susan Gilliam (Los Angeles , Calif./Bolles HS) combined to win the 500-yard crescendo relay. Brady (50-yard freestyle), Seskevics (100-yard freestyle), Smith (150-yard freestyle) and Gilliam (200-yard freestyle) combined for a time of 4:29.39.
The Wolverines return to the pool next Friday (Nov. 8) when they head to Columbus, Ohio, for a Big Ten Conference dual meet with Ohio State. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
