"We are excited to have Brandon become a member of the University of Michigan golf team," said Michigan men's golf coach Jim Carras. "He has a lot of experience and talent that will help him make an immediate impact with the program."
Duff, a 2001 All-State first team selection, helped lead Powers Catholic to the 2001 Division II state championship title, the 2001 regional championship and its 11th straight Big Nine Conference crown. He was the Big Nine championship medalist after tying the conference record with a round of 69. He is a two-time Big Nine Player of the Year (2000, '01) and All-Big Nine first team selection (2000, '01). He was also a member of the Powers Catholic 1998 Division II state championship team.
The Wolverines lose three seniors after the 2001-02 season in Andrew Chapman, Kyle Kilcherman and Andy Matthews.
