QUOTES
Coach Jim Carras
On his team's performance ... "We finished in the top four and that was close to my goal so I can't be disappointed. With the conditions we had over the past two days I was pleased with our play. We didn't do as well in the second round, but we had a good final day with the tough weather and course set-up conditions."
On his team ... "We are looking better and better each round. We are still finding ourselves. That's the game plan for the next tournament -- to find out what we have and to get our identity."
Redshirt Freshman Scott Carlton
On the team's performance ... "We would have like to have played better, but you have your good days and your bad days. No one let it get away from them. We just kept going stroke by stroke, trying to do our best."
On his first collegiate tournament ... "It was fun. To come out on the first day and shoot two-under was awesome. The second round some things just didn't fall into place, but overall I was really, really happy."
Junior Andy Matthews
On the team's performance ... "We all wish we could win our own tournament, but sometimes things just don't go as planned. We struggled with the weather and the wind in the second round, but all in all we played well."
On the team's expectations ... "They are high. We haven't sat down and really talked about what we want to do as a team because we still have some decisions to solidify the team. But once we do that, I think things will fall into place. Good things are going to happen this year."
