JP Valadares
- Title:
- Assistant Coach
JP Valadares in his first season as an assistant coach for the Michigan women's soccer program in 2026 after spending the last three seasons with head coach Dave DiIanni.
"I’ve always believed tradition is a responsibility," Valadares said. "When you step into Michigan, you don’t arrive to participate. You arrive to elevate. The Block M carries weight. I am incredibly grateful for Coach DiIanni’s trust, and I am fully aligned with his vision to uphold that standard. To me, relationships are the foundation of high performance. We build strong bonds not to get comfortable, but to withstand the pressure of elite competition. Real trust allows for hard truths, and we will use that honesty to sharpen the details and put in the collective work that wins championships. At Michigan, excellence isn’t discussed. It’s demanded and earned every single day. Go Blue!"
