Why Michigan
"I chose Michigan for many reasons. The University of Michigan excels both in academics and athletics, two things that are very important to me. U of M has an amazing Kinesiology program, and I want to use my personal experience and academic study to help others work through athletic injury and rediscover their inner strength. Born and raised in sunny California, I also chose Michigan because I want to experience a change of seasons and culture.
Why Gymnastics
"I started gymnastics at age 4. I attended a close family friend's birthday party and they told my mom I followed directions well, was focused, and flexible. They thought I was naturally gifted at such a young age, and so I enrolled immediately after."
