Led the Wolverines in scoring average for the third time in his four years...had 5 top 20 finishes, 3 top 10, and 2 in the top 5 throughout the season...was the Big Ten individual champion where he shot rounds of 73-71-71-72=287...earned All-Big Ten honors for the second time...Led the Wolverines in scoring average as a freshman and again as a sophomore
Junior (1995-96) ... Team leader in scoring average (76.49) and had team's best two individual finishes, tying for second twice, at the Northern Intercollegiate in State College, PA, and at the Legends of Indiana Tournament in Franklin, IN...in State College he carded a two round 144, shooting even par (72) both days...at Legends, he shot 77-75-72 for a total of 224...had a strong finish to the season, at the Big Ten Championship carding his best 54-hole total (219) on his way to a 12th place finish-298 (73-72-74-79)...participated in all 12 events of the season
Sophomore (1994-95) ... Finished third on the team in scoring average (74.92) and had lowest round on team, shooting a 67 at the Big Ten Championship in Madison, WI (May 12,1995)...placed third at Big Tens, leading team to an overall third place finish and an invitation to the NCAA Central Regional Championships in Houston, TX...best 54 came at Big Tens where over the first three days he carded a 215 (67-74-74)...was Michigan's best player of the spring season finishing first or second on the team in six of seven spring tournaments
