» Junior RJ Arone earned Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week honors, sharing the award with Purdue's Jenson Forrester.
» Arone captured his first collegiate medalist honor, guiding the Wolverines to a dominant 25-shot victory at the Island Resort Intercollegiate.
» He fired a career-low 202 (-14) over 54 holes, tying for the fourth-lowest 54-hole total in program history. Arone carded rounds of 66, 67 and 69 at Sage Run Golf Club, totaling 16 birdies with just two bogeys across the tournament.
» His final-round 69 (-3) helped Michigan post an 823 (-41) team total, the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history.
» The victory followed a career-best tie for third at the season-opening Virtues Intercollegiate. Through two events, Arone has helped Michigan claim back-to-back team titles to begin the fall season.
