Notes
• Michigan has had 22 lottery picks, with nine coming since 2013.
• U-M has produced NBA Draft selections in seven consecutive decades, from the 1960s through the 2020s.
• Since 2011, U-M has had at least one player selected in 12 of the last 16 NBA Drafts.
• During that span, 21 Wolverines have been selected (seven lottery, 15 first-round and six second-round)
• The lottery selections of Morez Johnson Jr., Yaxel Lendeborg and Aday Mara gave Michigan its first trio of first-round selections in 36 years. The only time Michigan had three first-round selections in the same draft was in 1990: Rumeal Robinson (Atlanta Hawks, 10th), Loy Vaught (Los Angeles Clippers, 13th) and Terry Mills (Milwaukee Bucks, 16th), who were coming off the 1989 national championship.
• U-M joined North Carolina (2005), Florida (2007), Kentucky (2010, 2015, 2017) and Duke (2019, 2025) as the only programs to have three players or more selected among the top 14 picks in a single draft. North Carolina (2005) and Kentucky (2015) remain the only schools to produce four lottery picks in one draft, while Duke and Kentucky are the only programs to accomplish the feat multiple times.
U-M joined North Carolina (2005), Florida (2007), Kentucky (2015) and Duke (2019, 2025) as the only programs to have three players or more selected among the top 14 picks in a single draft. North Carolina (2005) and Kentucky (2015) remain the only schools to produce four lottery picks in one draft, while Duke is the only program to accomplish the feat multiple times.
• Michigan has had three players selected in the same NBA Draft 10 times. Before this year, the last occurrence came in 2014 when Nik Stauskas (Sacramento Kings, No. 8), Mitch McGary (Oklahoma City Thunder, No. 21) and Glenn Robinson III (Minnesota Timberwolves, No. 40) were selected.
• Since 2013, Michigan has had 15 first-round NBA Draft selections, including Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., Stauskas, McGary, Caris LeVert, D.J. Wilson, Moritz Wagner, Jordan Poole, Franz Wagner, Jett Howard, Kobe Bufkin, Danny Wolf, Johnson, Lendeborg and Mara.
• Michigan has had multiple lottery picks in the same NBA Draft three times. The Wolverines had two lottery selections in 1990 and 1994 before setting a program record with three lottery picks in 2026:
- 1990: Robinson (Atlanta Hawks, No. 10) and Vaught (Los Angeles Clippers, No. 13)
- 1994: Juwan Howard (Washington Bullets, No. 5) and Jalen Rose (Denver Nuggets, No. 13)
- 2026: Johnson. (Dallas Mavericks, No. 9), Lendeborg (Golden State Warriors, No. 11) and Mara (Oklahoma City Thunder, No. 12)
• Michigan has had multiple first-round selections in the same draft six times:

• Since 2011, Michigan's 21 NBA Draft selections are the most among current Big Ten programs and are tied for fourth nationally. Kentucky leads with 41 selections, followed by Duke (36) and Kansas (26). Michigan, Arizona and North Carolina are tied for fourth with 21, while UCLA is seventh with 19.
• Michigan placed 13 former Wolverines on NBA rosters during the 2025-26 season: Bufkin (Los Angeles Lakers), Moussa Diabate (Charlotte Hornets), Vladislav Goldin (Miami Heat; two-way), Hardaway (Denver Nuggets), Caleb Houstan (Atlanta Hawks; two-way), Jett Howard (Orlando Magic), LeVert (Detroit Pistons), Isaiah Livers (Phoenix Suns; two-way), Poole (New Orleans Pelicans), Duncan Robinson (Detroit Pistons), Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic), Moritz Wagner (Orlando Magic) and Wolf (Brooklyn Nets).
