
Wolverines Set Two Top-10 Marks at Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The No. 20-ranked University of Michigan women's track and field team opened the Florida Relays on Friday (April 3) at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressly Stadium, setting a pair of top-10 marks.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Alyssa Bean, Amare Harlan, Myla Wilkes and Keyanna O'Tey finished fifth in the preliminary round with a time of 44.17 seconds, the No. 2 time on the program performers list and just 0.07 seconds shy of the program record. The relay squad advanced to Saturday's finals.
Harlan posted her second top-10 mark of the day in the long jump, finishing sixth with a personal-best 6.16m (20 feet, 2.5 inches) to come in at No. 7 on the program performers list.
Sidney Green ran a season-best time of 57.78 in the 400-meter hurdles for an eighth-place finish while Lauren Bickerdt finished 29th with a personal-best 1:00.37.
In the 200-meter dash, Maya Wilkes finished 26th with a time of 24.12.
The Wolverines will close out the Florida Relays on Saturday (April 4) with the 100-meter hurdles preliminary round at noon.
