
Wolverines Set Top-10 Time on Day Two at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team continued competition at the Penn Relays on Friday (April 24) at Franklin Field, setting one top-10 program time.
In the 4x400-meter relay preliminaries, Alyssa Bean, Payton Smith, Trinity Henderson and Sidney Green finished third with a time of 3:31.35 to advance to Saturday's finals. The time is No. 4 on the program performers list.
Bean, Amare Harlan, Myla Wilkes and Keyanna O'Tey posted a time of 44.20 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay preliminaries to come just 0.03 seconds shy of a season best and 0.10 seconds short of the program record. The squad advanced to Saturday's finals.
Sydney Glee, Henderson, Wilkes and Harlan finished sixth in the 4x200-meter relay (1:34.35) while O'Tey, Harlan, Smith and Emmry Ross finished second in the sprint medley relay (3:44.29).
The Wolverines will close out the Penn Relays on Saturday (April 25), starting the day with the 4x100-meter relay finals at 1:45 p.m.
