ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Football program split its squad for the 2026 Maize vs. Blue Spring Game, and Maize was the winner on Saturday (April 18) by a score of 7-6 at Michigan Stadium.
Below is a list of 'big plays' made during the scrimmage.
First Quarter
• 3rd and 6 (Maize): Bryce Underwood pass complete to Eli Owens for 16 yards and a first down.
Second Quarter
• 3rd and 12 (Blue): Tommy Carr rush for 14 yards and a first down.
• Stuart Blake made a 23-yard field goal at 1:16 to put Blue ahead, 3-0.
Third Quarter
• Carr pass to Jaime Ffrench for 11 yards at 6:36.
• Carr sacked by Adam Bazzi at the Maize 22 at 5:02.
• Blake connected on his second field goal of the game from 40 yards out to put Blue up, 6-0, with 4:21 left.
• Carr pass complete to Kendrick Bell for 16 yards with 3:04 left.
Fourth Quarter
• Tomas O'Meara stopped at the Blue one-yard line on fourth down by Bobby Kanka.
• Carr rushed for 16 yards.
• Carr pass complete to Jamar Browder for 18 yards.
• O'Meara scored the only touchdown of the afternoon with 17 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to give Maize a 7-6 lead.
Today's Spring Game marks the 15th and final practice of U-M's 2026 spring season.
