
Michigan to Finish Road Trip at No. 13 Ohio State

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 8-ranked University of Michigan women's basketball team (22-5, 13-3 Big Ten) wraps up the road portion of the season, heading to Columbus to face No. 13 Ohio State (23-5, 12-4 Big Ten) on Wednesday (Feb. 25) at Value City Arena. The game is set for 8 p.m. and can be seen on Peacock.

• The Wolverines are looking for their first win in Columbus since a 77-58 win on Jan. 27, 2022. Eight of Michigan's 17 wins over the Buckeyes have come under head coach Kim Barnes Arico since the 2012-13 season. Ohio State leads the all-time series 62-17.
• Michigan is facing the No. 13-ranked team in the Associated Press poll for the third straight game and for the fourth time this season. U-M started the streak with an 86-65 win over No. 13 Michigan State (Feb. 15) before falling to No. 13 Iowa, 62-44, on Sunday (Feb. 22) in Iowa City. U-M has another win over No. 13 Michigan State, coming in overtime (94-91) on Feb. 1.
• The No. 13-ranked Buckeyes are Michigan's ninth ranked opponent of the season. U-M is 4-4 against top-25 teams this season, falling to No.1 UConn, No. 2 UCLA, No. 5 Vanderbilt and No. 13 Iowa. Michigan's NET SOS is No. 7.
• Michigan moved to No. 8 in the latest Associated Press poll. It is the 14th consecutive week that Michigan has been in the top 10, the longest streak in the top 10 in program history. Michigan was in the top 10 for six straight weeks during the 2021-22 season. That streak started with the Jan. 17, 2022, poll and ran through the Feb. 21, 2022, poll.
• Michigan has three players scoring in double figures: sophomores Olivia Olson (18.9 ppg), Syla Swords (14.2 ppg) and Mila Holloway (12.8 ppg). U-M is second in the Big Ten in scoring offense at 85.0 points per game.
• The game will feature two of the Big Ten's top six scorers, with OSU's Jaloni Cambridge leading the league at 23.1 points per game and Olson ranking sixth at 18.9. Olson and Cambridge shared Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors last year from the coaches.
• Ohio State and Michigan are the top two teams in the Big Ten in both steals and turnover margin. OSU leads the league in steals at 12.3, with Michigan right behind in second at 11.8 per game. The Buckeyes pace the Big Ten in turnover margin at +8.6 and Michigan is in second at +7.8.
• U-M wraps up the regular season on Saturday (Feb. 28), hosting No. 14 Maryland at Crisler Center at 2:30 p.m. Michigan will honor its senior class of Alyssa Crockett, Brooke Quarles Daniels and Ally VanTimmeren beforethe game. Katelynn Flaherty will have her No. 3 jersey honored at halftime of the contest.
