
Michigan to Host 2027, 2028 ITA National Team Indoor Championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team and Varsity Tennis Center will serve as host of the 2027 and 2028 ITA National Team Indoor Championships, as announced by the ITA on Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 18).
Continuing the regional host site format that was piloted during the 2025 & 2026 Division I Team Indoor Championships, the 2027 and 2028 ITA Division I Women's Team Indoors will be hosted by the University of Michigan and Ohio State University.
"We are very excited to be hosting the next two ITA National Team Indoor Championships at the Varsity Tennis Center," head coach Ronni Bernstein said. "It is a great opportunity for us to bring the top teams in the country to our world-class facility and showcase the best of college tennis. We are excited for our fans and student-athletes as they compete against the very best in Ann Arbor."
Michigan will host the semifinals and finals in 2027 in addition to the opening rounds of play, while Ohio State will host the semifinals and finals in 2028 in addition to the opening rounds of play.
U-M has made 14 appearances in the national event over the last 18 seasons, highlighted by a runner-up finish in 2024.
