» Behind matching three-under 69s from Mackey Beckett and Jordan Hwang, Michigan posted a 284 (-4) second-round total to maintain its second-place standing with a 575 (-1) total after 36 holes at The Bryson.
» Hwang posted a bogey-free 69 (-3), recording three birdies and 15 pars. With birdies on Nos. 8, 10 and 16, he moved into a tie for second at 140 (-4, 71-69) through 36 holes.
» Beckett, who is tied for 18th, rebounded from an opening 76 (+4) with a three-under 69, improving by seven shots. The freshman carded six birdies, including four on the back nine, to move to 145 (+1, 76-69) through two rounds.
