
Wolverines Add Muscutt to Roster

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan Graham Family Head Ice Hockey Coach Brandon Naurato announced Thursday (Jan. 8) the addition of Kason Muscutt to the team as a midseason addition.
A left-handed forward, Muscutt comes to Ann Arbor from the Sioux City Musketeers (USHL). This season, he has played in 29 games with 17 points, netting five goals and 11 assists. Last year with Sioux City, Muscutt played in 56 games and had 17 points on seven goals and 10 assists, while adding three more points in the playoffs. A native of Bossier City, La., Muscutt spent the 2023-24 season with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders (USHL), totaling 14 points in 55 games. The 5-11, 176-pound forward played for the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL) and with the Dallas Stars Elite organization.
Michigan is back in action starting on Friday (Jan. 9) when it takes on Notre Dame in a two-game series at Yost Ice Arena.
