
U-M to Travel to South Bend for Double Dual Meet With Notre Dame, Wisconsin

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team (0-0, 0-0 Big Ten) will start the dual-meet portion of its 2025-26 season with a trip to South Bend, Ind., for a matchup with No. 25-ranked Notre Dame (0-0) and No. 22-ranked Wisconsin (1-0, 0-0 Big Ten) on Friday (Oct. 10) at 3 p.m. inside Rolfs Aquatics Center.
Notes
• Michigan started its season with the TEAM BE BETTER; Invitational on Sept. 26, honoring the memory of former teammate Ian Miskelley and raising awareness of mental health in college athletics.
• Freshman Luka Mladenovic got off to a strong start in his college career, winning the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 25.15 seconds, which ranks third in the Big Ten.
• Colin Geer ranks third in the conference in the 100-yard butterfly with a mark of 48.09.
• Eitan Ben-Shitrit checks in at second in the Big Ten in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 1:37.47 at the TEAM BE BETTER; Invitational.
• In diving, freshman Emmitt Reesor shined for the Maize and Blue, sweeping both the one-meter and three-meter events.
• Friday will mark the fifth all-time meeting between Michigan and Notre Dame and the first since the 2014-15 season. Michigan has won all four previous matchups, including the most recent dual by a score of 177-117.
• U-M will face Wisconsin for the 54th time, as the Wolverines lead the series 47-5 and defeated the Badgers in 2024 at home, 261-90.
• Following Friday's meet, Michigan will return to Canham to face Northwestern on Oct. 25.
