
Wolverine Women Set to Face No. 6 Indiana in Bloomington

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 7-ranked University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team (3-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will open the new year by heading to Bloomington, Ind., to take on No. 6 Indiana (2-2, 0-0 Big Ten) on Friday (Nov. 10) at 11 a.m. at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center.

• Michigan ended 2024 with a flourish by taking the Georgia Tech Invitational title with a total of 1,475 points in Atlanta in November.
• Stephanie Balduccini was dominant in Atlanta, posting the top time in the nation in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:41.85. The sophomore also tallied wins in the 100 free and 200-yard IM.
• Hannah Bellard put together her best performance of the season at the Georgia Tech Invitational highlighted by a win in the 500-yard freestyle with an NCAA 'A' cut time of 4:34.77. Bellard added victories in the 200-yard butterfly and the 400-yard IM.
• Letitia Sim leads the way for the breaststroke group, pacing the Big Ten in the 100-yard event with a time of 59.46.
• In butterfly, Mattea Sokolow leads the conference in the 200-yard event with a mark of 1:53.08. Four other Wolverines -- Bellard, Marian Ploger, Kathryn Shanley and Madison Smith -- round out the top five in the Big Ten.
• Lindsay Flynn took first in the 50-yard freestyle at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a time of 22.04, which ranks third among Big Ten swimmers.
• Kiarra Milligan ranks seventh in the conference in the three-meter dive after posting a score of 339.60 at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
• Michigan and Indiana will meet for the 41st time in program history. The Wolverines lead the series 26-14.
