
Wolverine Women to Honor Senior Class Against Miami (Ohio)

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 7-ranked University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team (4-1) will welcome Miami (Ohio) (5-1) to Canham Natatorium on Saturday (Feb. 1) at 1 p.m. for Senior Day and the final dual meet of the 2024-25 season. The meet will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan is coming off a dominant 197.5-102.5 win over No. 13 Ohio State on Jan. 18. The Wolverines topped the Buckeyes in a dual meet for the first time in five seasons.
• Before Saturday's meet, U-M will honor six seniors -- Chrismon Clark, Lindsay Flynn, Evie Johnson, Natalie Kan, Abbey Ketslakh and Kathryn Shanley -- for their contributions to the program over their four seasons in Ann Arbor.
• Letitia Sim shined against Ohio State, winning three individual events and helping the Wolverines to a first-place finish. Sim set a new personal best in the 200-yard breaststroke last time out, clocking a 2:10.66.
• Senior Lindsay Flynn put together a strong meet against the rival Buckeyes, winning both of her freestyle events. Flynn ranks in the top five among Big Ten swimmers in both the 50 and 100 free races.
• Rebecca Diaconescu continues to excel in the long-distance freestyle events. The freshman won both the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle against Ohio State. Diaconescu is one of two Wolverines to earn an NCAA 'A' cut in the 500-yard freestyle.
• Hannah Bellard won the 200-yard butterfly against OSU with a time of 1:58.02. The sophomore also took second in the 200-yard IM and 500-yard freestyle in a versatile performance.
• Kiarra Milligan leads the way for the Michigan divers. The junior won the three-meter event against Ohio State, posting a score of 354.53.
• Michigan will battle Miami (Ohio) for the fourth time in program history, with the Wolverines leading the all-time series 3-0.
