Olympic Updates (Aug. 11): Virtue Helps Lead USA to Silver Medal

Women's Volleyball

The USA women's volleyball team fell in straight sets to Italy to earn the silver medal. Team USA took the first point in the match but quickly fell behind and dropped the first set, 25-18. The United States and Italy battled earlier in the second set but the Italians were able to pull away again and won the second set, 25-20. In the third set, both teams split the first 12 points before Italy went on a 6-0 run and controlled the rest of the match to take the third set, 25-17. » Full Update
