
Gammage Qualifies for NCAAs on Day One of Zone C Diving Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Michigan diving teams got off to a strong start at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at Ralph Wright Natatorium on Thursday (March 14) highlighted by Cameron Gammage punching his ticket to the NCAA Championships in the three-meter dive.
Gammage was the lone Wolverine competing on the three-meter springboard, and he put together an impressive qualifying performance on the opening day of the zone meet. The junior finished 12th in the preliminary to earn a spot in the final and secured 10th overall in the final with a cumulative score of 719.15.
On the women's side, Evie Johnson, Chrismon Clark and Taylor Peters advanced to the one-meter springboard, looking to snag one of the seven qualifying spots in the event. Johnson finished 13th overall with a score of 527.85. Clark and Peters posted marks of 524.10 and 516.05 to take 14th and 15th overall, respectively. Kiarra Milligan narrowly missed the final, finishing 19th with a score of 246.50.
U-M will return to action at Ralph Wright Natatorium on Friday (March 15) at 1:00 p.m. The men will compete on the one-meter springboard, and the women will battle in the three-meter dive.
