
U-M to Welcome Top-Ranked Sooners to Cliff Keen

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 4-ranked University of Michigan men's gymnastics team will host No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday (March 2) at 1 p.m. inside Cliff Keen Arena. Admission for the meet is free of charge and the event will be streamed via B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan is ranked No. 4 in the latest Road to Nationals rankings (410.200) as a team. In terms of individual events, U-M tops the country on parallel bars (69.233) and ranks second on still rings (68.650). The Wolverines come in at No. 4 on pommel horse (67.267), vault (71.983) and high bar (67.767).
• Volunteer assistant coach Cameron Bock earned a spot on the U.S. Senior National team with a 163.850 all-around score and placed fourth at the USA Gymnastics Winter Cup meet (Feb. 23-25). Graduate student Paul Juda and sophomore Fred Richard held their spots on the team without competing. Sophomore Landen Blixt maintained his spot on the senior development team.
• Richard is coming off being named College Gymnastics Association Gymnast of the Week for his performance against Arizona State and Springfield (Feb. 17). He sat out the Winter Cup meet due to a wrist injury.
• Senior Javier Alfonso leads the NCAA on still rings with a 14.767 three-score average, along with junior Logan McKeown, who ranks second on parallel bars (14.450). Junior David Wolma is third on vault (14.833), while graduate student Crew Bold is seventh on high bar (14.050). Senior Evgeny Siminiuc is fifth in the rankings parallel bars (14.133).
• Richard owns the fourth-highest score in the NCAA on pommel horse (15.00), while Alfonso boasts the highest mark on still rings (15.10). Juda's 15.10 on vault leads the country, and Richard leads the country on high bar (14.90). Juda's all-around high of 86.200 tops the country in the discipline as well.
• Against Arizona State and Springfield (Feb. 17), the Wolverines won six team events, and swept the medal stand on parallel bars and high bar -- while seven student-athletes set new career-high scores.
• Oklahoma ranks No. 1 in the country with a 411.380 score average and owns the highest score in the NCAA this season (420.350). The Sooners also rank No. 1 on floor exercise (69.817), pommel horse (69.867) and high bar (69.483), as well as second on vault (72.783). Oklahoma's Emre Dondanli ranks first (15.017) on vault, while teammate Ignacio Yockers is No. 1 on pommel horse (15.083).
