Cheez-It National Team of the Week
» Michigan Football has been named the Cheez-It National Team of the Week following a 13-10 victory over No. 2 Ohio State for U-M's fourth straight win in the series, the longest win streak in The Game since 1988-91.
» U-M outgained the Buckeyes, 172-77, on the ground -- marking 23 straight games in the series in which the team that has run for more yards has won the game (2001-present; 2020 not contested).
» Michigan turned OSU over twice in the win and kept OSU to its lowest regular-season scoring output since 2011 (10 points).
» Dominic Zvada sealed the game with a 21-yard field goal and under one minute remaining after hitting a 54-yarder earlier in the contest.
» Kalel Mullings took a career-high 32 carries for 116 yards with a touchdown and picked up the game-clinching first down from 3rd-and-6 on the final drive.
» This is the seventh time Michigan has been named the Cheez-It National Team of the Week and the third time in the past four seasons (2021, '22).

Co-Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week
» Dominic Zvada shares the Big Ten's Week 14 Special Teams Player of the Week honor with Iowa's Drew Stevens.
» Zvada converted 54- and 21-yard field goals at Ohio State, the latter being the game-winner with 45 seconds remaining.
» The Chandler, Ariz., native, improved his program record of career and single-season 50-plus yard field goal conversions to seven.
» Zvada has the most 50-plus yard field goal conversions without a miss in college football this season (seven-for-seven).
» Now the third player in league history to earn four Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week honors in one season (since 1994, when specialists were first honored). Others: Jordan Stout (Penn State, 2021), Travis Dorsch (Purdue, 2001).

» Mason Graham leads all U-M defensive linemen with 36 tackles and ranks second on the team with seven for loss.
» Set a career high with 3.5 sacks this year, all in Big Ten play.
» Also blocked one kick, credited with one pass breakup.
» Has 32 pressures (sacks, hits, hurries) this year, second-most among FBS interior defensive linemen.
» PFF's No. 2-graded run defender among interior defensive linemen.

Nov. 19 -- Dominic Zvada

Lou Groza Award Semifinalist
» Dominic Zvada has converted 13-of-14 field goal tries this season with one blocked.
» One of six kickers in the nation with five-plus conversions at 50-plus yards and one of two who is five-for-five on such tries.
» Set a U-M career record with those five field goals of 50-plus yards (single-season and career records)
» This is Zvada's second time being named a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award (2022 at Arkansas State)
» One of two Big Ten kickers to be named a semifinalist this season (MSU's Jonathan Kim)

» The Chuck Bednarik Award is presented to the best defensive player in college football by the Maxwell Club.
» Mason Graham leads all U-M defensive linemen with 36 tackles and ranks second on the team with 7.0 for loss.
» Has also posted 3.5 sacks, surpassing his season total from 2023 (3.0), with one blocked kick and one pass breakup.
» PFF's No. 1-graded run defender and No. 8 graded pass rusher among interior linemen (min. 150 snaps each).
» Credited with the second-most pressures (hits, hurries, sacks) among all interior defensive linemen (32).

Nov. 11 -- Dominic Zvada, Mason Graham, William Wagner

Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week
» Dominic Zvada connected on three field goals (39, 22, 56 yards) last weekend at Indiana.
» Now at 13-of-14 field goal attempts on the year with one blocked.
» Set a new Michigan record with five 50-plus yard field goals this season (five-for-five).
» Converted seven tries at 40-plus yards this year, tied-second most in a single season.
» His 56-yard conversion at Indiana was the third-longest field goal in Memorial Stadium history.
» This marks Zvada's third Big Ten honor this season (two outright, one co-).

Lott IMPACT Trophy Semifinalist
» The Lott IMPACT Trophy is presented annually to the college football defensive IMPACT Player of the Year.
» IMPACT stands for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community, and Tenacity.
» Mason Graham leads all U-M defensive linemen with 36 tackles and has set a new career high in sacks (3.5).
» His 7.0 tackles-for-loss this year are 0.5 shy of his career high.
» Posted 32 pressures this year (hits, hurries, sacks), rank second among interior defensive linemen.

Patrick Mannelly Award Semifinalist
» William Wagner has appeared in 47 games during his Michigan career including all 10 this season.
» Handled all snaps, long (punt) and short (field goal/PAT) during the 2024 season.
» Part of a kicking battery that is 13-of-14 on field goals this season (one blocked).
» The unit has put together seven kicks from 40-plus yards and five from 50-plus yards in 2024.
» Also responsible for one tackle at Indiana.

Nov. 5 -- Max Bredeson, Colston Loveland

Burlsworth Trophy
» Max Bredeson was voted by teammates as a 2024 team captain.
» Appeared in 37 games in his career with six starts as a fullback/tight end.
» Integral part of U-M's run game over the past several seasons, blocking for three 1,000-yard rushers from 2021-present.
» Began his career as a walk-on and later earned a scholarship.

John Mackey Award Semifinalist
» Colston Loveland has posted a team-leading 49 receptions for 523 yards and four touchdowns this season.
» Needs just five catches, 100 yards, five touchdowns to break single-season Michigan tight end records.
» Michigan's leader or co-leader in receptions in all seven games in which he has played this season.
» Targeted 69 times this year, the third-highest total in the FBS among tight ends.
» Recorded his first career 100-yard game last weekend against Oregon; the first U-M tight end with 100-plus receiving yards since Jake Butt (Rutgers, 2015).

Oct. 29 -- Will Johnson, Colston Loveland

Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Semifinalist
» Will Johnson has returned both of his interceptions this season for touchdowns (86 yards, 42 yards).
» Credited with five total pass breakups this season, second most on the team.
» Allowed an NFL passer rating of 52.6 on 26 targets against.
» Also posted 14 tackles, including one for loss.

Mackey Award Player of the Week
» Colston Loveland caught six passes for 67 yards with two touchdowns and a two-point conversion against Michigan State.
» It was Loveland's second career multi-touchdown game against the Spartans.
» Colston is the team leader in receptions in all seven games in which he has played with 42 total catches.
» The game was Loveland's 11th in his career with more than 50 receiving yards, second-most among tight ends in U-M history.

» One of five Bkg Ten backs averaging at least 100 rushing yards per game (108); ranks 12th in FBS in yards per carry (7.01).

» Dominic Zvada converted 35- and 53-yard field goals in addition to three PATs for six points in the win over Minnesota.

William V. Campbell Trophy Semifinalist (Sept. 25)
» Josh Priebe started all four games at left guard in his first season with U-M (40 career starts).
» Currently enrolled in U-M's School of Social Work after earning his degree in Learning and Organizational Change at Northwestern.
» Three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week (Sept. 24)
» Sherrone Moore led U-M to a win over No. 11 USC to open Big Ten play last weekend.
» The Wolverines used a 10-play, 89-yard touchdown drive in the game's final minutes to secure the win.
» The team totaled 290 rushing yards while holding USC to under 100 yards on the ground.
» Continued a 26-game win streak against Big Ten opponents, dating to 2021.
» The Maize and Blue is 3-1 and ranked No. 12 in the latest AP Poll.

» Created 14 yards lost against the Trojan offense and matched his career-high in TFLs (3.0).
» U-M's leader in sacks (4.0, No. 1 Big Ten, No. 12 NCAA) and TFLs (6.5, t-No. 1 Big Ten, No. 17 NCAA).

» Tommy Doman set career highs in punts (eight), yards (393), 50-plus yard punts (five), with four punts inside the 20-yard line.
» Sent all four second-half punts at least 50 yards including a season-best 58-yard long to pin the Trojans at their 10-yard line to start the fourth quarter.
» The first U-M punter since at least 1997 to deliver five punts at least 50 yards.

» Davis Warren made first career start at quarterback in 30-10 win over Fresno State (Aug. 31).
» Finished 15-of-25 passing for 118 yards with one touchdown.
» Threw first career touchdown on an 18-yard connection with tight end Colston Loveland.

Lou Groza Award Stars of the Week (Sept. 4)
Co-Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week (Sept. 2)
» Dominic Zvada earned the honor following his U-M debut that included 12 points (three-of-three field goal tries).
» Scored nine straight points for the team in the season-opening win over Fresno State (Aug. 31).
» Connected on field goals of 43, 53, and 55 yards to become the second kicker in program history with multiple 50-plus yard field goals in the same game (Quinn Nordin vs. Florida, 2017).
» His 55-yard kick is the sixth-longest in program history.
» James Turner was the most recent Wolverine to win the honor before Zvada (Nov. 27, 2023, following a 12-point effort in a win vs. Ohio State).
