SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team continued fall action this past weekend, sending six Wolverines to compete at the Notre Dame Invite (Oct. 4-6) at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.
Making their official debuts in Maize and Blue were Ava Bruno, Emily Sartz-Lunde and Jessica Bernales.
Michigan was stellar in both singles and doubles over the weekend, dropping just four total matches over the three days.
U-M competed against Columbia, Ohio State, Northwestern, Illinois and Notre Dame in the three-day event.
Next up for the Wolverines is the ITA Midwest Regional Championships, hosted by Ohio State. The six-day event runs from Oct. 10-15 with berths to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships on the line. The two singles finalists will punch their ticket, with the doubles champion earning the bid to the doubles championship.
