ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan wrestling program and head coach Sean Bormet announced Tuesday (Nov. 21) the recent signing of four student-athletes -- Cameron Catrabone, Christopher Kiser, Brock Mantanona and Zar Walker -- to National Letters of Intent.
The class currently ranks No. 9 in FloWrestling's Class of 2024 rankings. Michigan has two additional class commitments that have not yet signed. All will join the Wolverines next fall and make their collegiate debut during the 2024-25 wrestling season.
"We're incredibly excited about this Class of 2024," said Bormet. "There are numerous family connections to Michigan throughout the group, so I think there's a lot of passion there for the Maize and Blue. It's a talented group that has shown a propensity for pinning and an exciting wrestling style, and it covers a lot of weight classes. They're good students, high-character young men and really the type of student-athletes that thrive in our program."
Catrabone, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., is ranked as high as No. 4 nationally at 144 pounds and the No. 55 overall recruit by FloWrestling and No. 30 by MatScouts.
