Michigan Signs 23 Student-Athletes to 2023 Football Recruiting Class

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football program announced Wednesday (Dec. 21) the signing of 23 student-athletes to the Wolverines' 2023 recruiting class. Michigan inked a top-20 recruiting class according to every major outlet: 247Sports (17th), Rivals.com (17th), On3.com (18th) and ESPN.com (18th).
U-M addressed every position group in this year's recruiting class and placed a strong emphasis on the offensive and defensive line positions, signing three offensive and defensive linemen as well as two edge defenders. The Wolverines added at least two players at every position group except for quarterback and kicker, where they added just one player at each spot.
Michigan signed players from 11 different states and added international player Aymeric Koumba from Bordeaux, France. The core of this year's recruiting class includes four players from Michigan and Ohio as well as four student-athletes from Illinois.
