
Nielsen Inks 10 to 2023 Signing Class

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan women's lacrosse head coach Hannah Nielsen announced Wednesday (Nov. 9) the signing of the 10-person 2023 recruiting class to National Letters of Intent. The list includes Emma Bradbury, Rowan Clancy, Lucy Davis, Isabel DiNanno, Emileigh Goodloe, Allie Hartman, Laila Kostorowski , Kennedy Meier , Stella Nolan, and Emerson Pattillo.
The 2023 class includes four midfielders, three attackers, two defenders and one goalie hailing from six different states.
"I am thrilled to be announcing these outstanding young women as future Wolverines," said Nielsen. "This has been a long process, and it is exciting to be making it official today. I am proud that this class continues the trend of our program recruiting from various locations and I know that these athletes will make an immediate impact when they arrive. We cannot wait to have them on campus."
Emma Bradbury | A | 5-7 | Blue Bell, Pa. | Club: HHH Philadelphia
• Prepped at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Twice named to the Nike America Select Pennsylvania Team
• Was an All-Inter-Ac first team selection as a junior and earned second team honors as a sophomore
• Earned All-Philly Lacrosse Girls' First Team as a junior
• Led her high school team in goals and draw controls as both a sophomore and junior
• Had a team-best 106 points in her junior season
• Named to the National Tournament Philly Team in her sophomore campaign
• Selected to the Under Armour Philadelphia Command Team entering her freshman season
• Was an All-America honoree for the Philadelphia Command
• Named to the WPLL Futures
• Selected to the Under Armour Callback Academy
• Helped the Maverick NLC Pennsylvania team to a championship
• Plays club lacrosse for HHH Philadelphia
Rowan Clancy | D | 5-9 | McLean, Va. | Club: Capital Lacrosse Club
• Prepped at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Named an Under Armour All-American
• Averaged a team-best two ground balls and one caused turnover per game
• Was selected as the only junior captain
• Has been named the lead captain for her senior campaign
• Plays club lacrosse for Capital Lacrosse Club, 2023 Blue -- which is ranked in the top 15 nationally
• Invited to try out for the U18 National Development Team
• Selected to participate in the First Class Committed Games
• Named to the Inside Lacrosse I.D. Experience All-Tournament Team
• Helped her team to a US Lacrosse National Tournament Orange Division Championship
• Was named to the Under Armour 150 twice and was a Nike Elite 120 Invitee
Lucy Davis | M | 5-7 | Sudbury, Mass. | Club: Mass Elite
• Prepped at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Named a "Player to Watch" by the Boston Globe in the Division I state tournament
• Named as an all-star for Eastern Massachusetts, the Dual County League and The Metrowest Daily News as a junior
• Led her high school team to its first state semifinal in 10 years
• Helped her team to a Dual County League regular-season championship
• Named a team captain in her junior season
• Earned USA Lacrosse All-Academic honors
• Plays club lacrosse for Mass Elite
• Helped Mass/RI Team 1 win a championship in the top division at the 2022 USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament
• Played for Mass 2023 at the Nike American Select
• Served as a team captain for her high school soccer team where she was a four-year starter
• Selected as an Eastern Mass All-Start and DCL All-League honoree following her senior season
Isabel DiNanno | M | 5-5 | Wilton, Conn. | Club: Gold Coast Lacrosse
• Prepped at Wilton High School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Named All-FCIAC in her junior campaign
• Earned the 2022 FCIAC Lifetime Teammate Award given to one female athlete at the high school who supports fellow classmates beyond the playing field
• Named a captain in lacrosse, ice hockey and soccer for her senior seasons
• Plays club lacrosse for Gold Coast Lacrosse
Emileigh Goodloe | G | 5-7 | Fairfax, Va. | Club: VA Metro 23 Black
• Prepped at Chantilly High School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Selected for School Girls at US Lacrosse Women's National Tournament
• Named All-Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association All-State second team as a junior
• Earned All-Met Women's Lacrosse and was an All-Independent School League first team selection in her junior campaign
• Twice was selected for the Nike American Select VA/MD/DC team
• Named to the Athletes Unlimited Futures team
• Plays club lacrosse for VA Metro 23 Black
Allie Hartman | M | 5-4 | Longmont, Colo. | Club: Team 180
• Prepped at Silver Creek High School and plays lacrosse for Fairview High School where she was a three-year letterwinner
• Will play her senior season for Mead High School
• Is a two-time East League First Team honoree
• Named 5A All-State second team as a sophomore and honorable mention as a junior
• Helped her team to back-to-back conference championships
• Plays club lacrosse for Team 180, which is ranked 16th nationally
Laila Kostorowski | D | 5-4 |Washington, DC | Club: Capital Lacrosse Club 2023 Blue
• Prepped at Sidwell Friends School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Named to the American Select 2021 DC/VA team
• Helped her team to a National School Girls Tournament championship
• Had .600 draw-control win percentage as a junior
• Named a team captain for her senior season
Kennedy Meier | M | 5-8 |Wilmette, Ill. | Club: Team One Wildcat 2023
• Prepped at New Trier Township High School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Was a USA Lacrosse All-American
• Earned first team all-state honors as both a sophomore and a junior
• Twice named Central Suburban All-Conference and Central Suburban League All-Sectional
• Helped her team to a state championship in her junior season and was named the team MVP
• Set the single season record for draw controls (150) and ranks second all-time with draw control wins in a single game (18)
• Ranks third all-time for career draw control wins (230)
• Invited to the USA Lacrosse U18 National Team combine
• Plays club lacrosse for Team One Wildcat 2023, which is the No. 1-ranked team in the Midwest
Stella Nolan | A | 5-8 | New Canaan, Conn.| Club: Connecticut Grizzlies
• Prepped at New Canaan High School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Earned first team all-state honors as a junior
• Named All-FCIAC first team in her junior season
• Helped her team to back-to-back FCIAC Championships and led her team to a state championship in her junior campaign
• Finished third in the state in her sophomore season and helped the team to an undefeated regular season
• Plays club lacrosse for the Connecticut Grizzlies, which is the No. 1-ranked club program in Connecticut
• Helped the team to two Lax for the Cure championships
• Was a member of the 2019 NGLL National Championship team
• Is a two-time US Lacrosse Nationals invitee
• Was a two-time National Indoor Lacrosse Championship participant
• Helped her team to a 2018 Lax by the Sea Championship
Emerson Pattilo | A | 5-5 | Wilton, Conn.| Club: Connecticut Grizzlies
• Prepped at Wilton High School where she will be a four-year letterwinner
• Earned first team all-state honors as a sophomore
• Named first team All-Fairfield County Interscholastic Conference in her sophomore campaign
• Helped her team to the state quarterfinals
• Led her team in goals and ranked second in points and draw controls, while starting all 18 games
• Team ranked 18th nationally in her sophomore season
• Missed her junior campaign due to injury
• Awarded the Leadership Award as a junior
• Voted a team captain for her senior season
• Plays club lacrosse for the Connecticut Grizzlies, which is the No. 1-ranked club program in Connecticut
• Helped the Under Armour All-American CONNY Command Team to a national championship in 2020
• Helped the team to two Lax for the Cure championships
