Brent Ito, Charlie Pilon, Patrick Sullivan (Jan. 21)

Big Ten Men's Golf Preseason Honorees -- The Big Ten announced its list of conference preseason honorees, with graduate student Brent Ito, senior Charlie Pilon and junior Patrick Sullivan representing Michigan's selections. After earning All-Big Ten second team honors in 2020, Ito returns to the Wolverines after the NCAA allowed an extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has started 22 of his 28 career events and returns after averaging 72.67 per round in seven events last season. In his three seasons, Pilon has carried an average of 73.62 and started his last 25 straight events (27 career tournaments). As he continued to get back into the swing of things after an ankle injury, Sullivan started four events last year and highlighted the season going a perfect 4-0 at the Big Ten Match Play. » Big Ten Release
