Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Junior Olivia Carter was named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week after winning three individual races and helping Michigan to a relay win in its wins over Indiana and Northwestern last Saturday (Jan. 16). She swept the 100-yard butterfly (53.66) and 200-yard butterfly (1:56.85), picking up NCAA 'B' cuts in both events. Carter capped the meet with a win in the 200-yard IM (2:00.94) and anchored the team's winning 400-yard freestyle relay (3:19.20, split of 50.00).
