ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's basketball team (19-9, 10-7 Big Ten) will conclude the regular season Sunday (March 1), welcoming No. 22-ranked Indiana (22-7, 12-5 Big Ten) to Crisler Center. The game is set for noon, with U-M honoring the senior class of Akienreh Johnson and Kayla Robbins prior to the contest (approximately 11:45 a.m.).
• For the first time in school history, Michigan has reached the 10-win plateau in conference play in four straight seasons. U-M went 11-5 in 2016-17, 10-6 in 2017-18 and 11-7 last year. Michigan holds a 10-7 league mark this season. It is just the ninth time U-M has reached 10 wins in conference play, with four coming under head coach Kim Barnes Arico.
• Michigan is looking for its second win over a top-25 opponent when No. 22 Indiana comes to Crisler. U-M recorded a 78-63 win over No. 18 Iowa on Feb. 2 to kick off a 6-2 month of February.
• Michigan will honor the senior class of Akienreh Johnson and Kayla Robbins prior to Sunday's game.
Johnson battled injuries early on in her career before becoming a regular contributor, as both a starter and off the bench. She started both of Michigan's NCAA Tournament games during her sophomore season and appeared in all but three games as a junior. She has taken her game to a new level this season, starting all 28 games while averaging career highs in points, rebounds and minutes per game. She has scored in double figures 12 times with four 20-point games, highlighted by a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double against Rutgers.
Robbins appeared in 119 games during her career, becoming a starter this past season for the first time during a breakout senior campaign. She played in Michigan's first 18 games before suffering a season-ending knee injury at Nebraska. During her final season in the maize and blue, Robbins was averaging career-bests in points, rebounds and minutes per game. She turned in a career-high 23 points in Michigan's come-from-behind win over Syracuse and had 11 double-figure scoring games.
• Michigan is tied for fifth with Rutgers and Ohio State in the Big Ten standings with a 10-7 record. U-M can finish with either the No. 5, No. 6 or No. 7 seed for next week's Big Ten Tournament. The Wolverines are No. 34 in the latest NCAA RPI, totaling four top-50 wins so far this season. Michigan's strength of schedule is No. 28 and the Big Ten is the No. 2-rated conference nationally.
• Michigan is playing its final home game of the season against No. 22 Indiana at Crisler Center, where the Wolverines are 12-3 this season. U-M has recorded double-digit wins at home in seven of head coach Kim Barnes Arico's eight seasons in Ann Arbor.
• No. 22 Indiana (22-7, 12-5 B1G) has won two straight since dropping an 80-76 game to Ohio State on Feb. 16. The Hoosiers are averaging 72.9 points per game on 46.5 percent shooting while allowing 59.1 points per contest on 36.4 percent shooting. IU has four double-figure scorers in Ali Patberg (15.0 points per game), Grace Berger (13.3 ppg), Mackenzie Holmes (10.9 ppg) and Jaelynn Penn (10.8 ppg). Michigan and Indiana split the season series last year, with each team winning at home.
