Game Notes Nuggets
• This will be just the second regular-season football game played by the Wolverines in the month of December. The only previous regular season game was played at Hawaii on Dec. 6, 1986, a 27-10 victory led by quarterback Jim Harbaugh. U-M's only other contests during the 12th month of the season have been postseason bowl game matchups.
• U-M has two freshmen on the roster who are native to the state of Maryland: linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green (Baltimore) and defensive lineman Kris Jenkins (Olney).
• Michigan is averaging 381.8 yards per game of total offense (131.5 yards rushing, 250.3 yards passing). U-M is sixth in the Big Ten and 48th nationally in passing offense.
• The offense has turned the ball over six times this season, the fewest of any team in the Big Ten and 24th in the NCAA.
• Ronnie Bell leads the Wolverines with 26 receptions for 401 yards and one touchdown this fall. He has a team-high nine receptions of 20 yards or better.
• Hassan Haskins needs five yards for 1,000 in his career, having rushed 184 times for 995 yards and 10 touchdowns. He has four career 100-yard rushing efforts, including a 101-yard, 17-carry game last Saturday against Penn State.
• Haskins' 60-yard run early in the Penn State game was his second this season at 60-plus yards (66 yards at Minnesota). He is up to 6.1 yards per carry on the season with a team-leading 380 yards and has lost only five yards on 61 carries all season.

• Freshman Blake Corum had 27 rush yards out of the backfield to mark his new career best.
