Sophia Trombetta led the Wolverines for the first time in her U-M career as she finished third with a career-low 216 (E) tally, which topped her prior best by 11 shots. • Hailey Borja's fourth-place tie at the Glass City Invitational is the best finish for a U-M freshman since 1995. The previous best was by Sharon Park, who finished fifth in her collegiate debut at Spartan Invitational (Sept. 16-17), exactly 24 years prior to Borja's performance.
• Overall, U-M posted eight rounds of par or better in the season-opening event, including five sub-par tallies. Sophia Trombetta tied her career low with a 70 (-2) in the first round and closed with a 71 (-1) in the final round. Hannah Ghelfi also tied her career best with a 70 (-2) in the first round, while Hailey Borja set a career low with a 71 (-1) in the first round, and Ashley Kim closed with a season-low 71 (-1).

She became just the third Wolverine in program history to lead the team in scoring (74.16), joining Kim Benedict (2000) and Grace Choi (2014). Lau started all 11 events and made a 12th start following her individual invitation to the NCAA Regional in East Lansing, Michigan.
