Maddy Steere, Sofie Pontré, Abby Andrews (May 13)
CWPA Player of the Week -- Junior Maddy Steere was named Player of the Week for the fifth time in her career and third time in 2019 after scoring two goals in the NCAA quarterfinals against No. 3 UCLA. She finished the year with 97 points, including 55 goals and 42 assists. » CPWA Release
CWPA Defensive Player of the Week -- Sophomore Sofie Pontré picked up her second career Defensive Player of the Week honor and first of the season after recording a field block to go with one goal in Michigan's NCAA quarterfinal loss to No. 3 UCLA. » CPWA Release
CWPA Rookie of the Week -- Freshman Abby Andrews finished the season with seven CWPA Rookie of the Week honors. She closed out the season with freshman records of 128 points and 71 assists to go with 57 goals, 47 steals and 13 field blocks. Last week she had one goal, one assist and one steal against No. 3 UCLA in the NCAA quarterfinals. » CPWA Release
Julia Sellers, Abby Andrews (May 1)
CWPA Player of the Week -- Senior Julia Sellers was named CWPA Player of the Week for the second time this season and fourth time in her career after leading Michigan to a fourth straight CWPA title. Sellers was named CWPA Tournament MVP after scoring a team-high three goals to go with one assist in the championship game against No. 15 Princeton. She also had three goals in a win over No. 16 Harvard in the semifinals. Her counter attack was essential for the U-M offense as she drew four exclusions in the two games.
CWPA Rookie of the Week -- Freshman Abby Andrews became a six-time CWPA Rookie of the Week selection. She matched single-game U-M CWPA Tournament records with four assists and seven points in the semifinals against No. 16 Harvard. She followed with four assists to go with two goals in the championship game against No. 15 Princeton. In both games, Andrews tallied four steals to anchor the defensive effort.
Heidi Ritner, Erin Neustrom (April 17)
CWPA Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior Heidi Ritner tallied 23 saves in three games last weekend. She recorded a season-high 14 saves, while allowing only two goals in a 17-2 win over No. 18 Harvard on Saturday (April 13). She had five saves in a win at No. 18 Bucknell (April 13) and four saves with one goal allowed in the first half against George Washington on Sunday (April 14). Ritner led Michigan to a 6-0 record in conference play, posting a 3.47 goals-against average and .698 save percentage, allowing only 16 goals in 147:27. The honor is her third this season and 10th of her career.
CWPA Rookie of the Week -- Erin Neustrom earned her first CWPA Rookie of the Week honor after scoring eight goals off the bench in the Michigan's three victories over the weekend. Neustrom tied for third on the team with 15 goals in conference play, but even more impressive was her 1.000 shooting percentage, scoring on all 15 of her shot attempts over the six games of the CWPA schedule.
Abby Andrews (March 26)
CWPA Rookie of the Week – Freshman Abby Andrews was named CWPA Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season, tying her with Heidi Ritner for the second most in program history. Only Kim Johnson's seven honors in 2016 are more. Last week, Andrews tallied four goals and four assists to help lead Michigan to a 16-8 victory over No. 22 Indiana at Canham Natatorium.

CWPA Player of the Week -- Junior Maddy Steere was named CWPA Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career and second time this season. She helped lead Michigan to a 2-1 record on a road trip to three different cities in California over the weekend. She had four goals and two assists in a win at No. 13 Fresno State; tallied three goals, one assist and two field blocks in a win at No. 7 Pacific; and then finished with one goal, one assist and one steal in a loss to No. 4 Cal.
CWPA Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior Heidi Ritner was chosen as the CWPA Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season and ninth time in her career. She started all three games of the team's road trip, posting a 2-1 record with 27 saves and two steals. She had 11 saves, including four in a shutout third quarter that allowed U-M to defeat No. 7 Pacific, 8-7. She held No. 13 Fresno State to six goals in 25:59 minutes while making nine saves in a win. And she stopped seven shots and allowed just six goals in the first three quarters at No. 4 Cal before the Golden Bears came back for an 11-7 win.

CWPA Player of the Week -- Senior Julia Sellers was honored as the CWPA Player of the Week for the first time this season and third time in her career after recording 13 goals, two assists and four steals while leading Michigan to a 4-0 record at the Wolverine Invitational. She matched a career high with five goals and six points in a 20-8 victory over No. 13 Fresno State. She also had four goals and one assist against No. 15 Long Beach State.
CWPA Rookie of the Week -- Freshman Abby Andrews was chosen as the CWPA Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season after Michigan went 4-0 at its home Wolverine Invitational. Andrews contributed six goals, 11 assists, five steals and two field blocks as U-M topped four ranked opponents. She matched the third highest single-game assist total in school history (six) against No. 15 Long Beach State and had two goals and two assists against No. 14 UC San Diego and No. 13 Fresno State.
Heidi Ritner (Feb. 27)
CWPA Defensive Player of the Week -- Junior Heidi Ritner was named CWPA Defensive Player of the Week after guiding the Wolverines to a seventh-place finish at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational. She tallied 33 saves and five steals in a 2-2 weekend against four teams ranked in the top 12 nationally. Her biggest game was against No. 8 Arizona State as she recorded a season-high 13 saves while holding the Sun Devils to five goals. » CWPA Release
Abby Andrews (Feb. 12)
CWPA Rookie of the Week – Freshman Abby Andrews has been named CWPA Rookie of the Week after helping led the Wolverines to a third-place finish at the Triton Invitational. She tallied six goals, eight assists, seven steals, three field blocks and won five of her seven sprints. Andrews notched three goals and three assists in the third-place game against No. 6 UC Irvine, and had two goals, two assists and three steals in a win over No. 9 Arizona State. CWPA Rookie of the Week – Freshman Abby Andrews was named CWPA Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after recording five goals, six assists, two drawn exclusions, one steal and five sprints won at the Stanford Invitational. Andrews led Michigan to an 11-9 victory over No. 8 Pacific in the final game of the weekend with four goals and two assists. CWPA Player of the Week -- Junior Maddy Steere received her third career CWPA Player of the Week award after leading Michigan with five goals and nine points at the UCSB Winter Invite (Jan. 19-20) to kick off the 2019 season. Steere also drew three exclusions and one steal. She played her best game of the weekend against No. 3 UCLA, scoring three goals to go with two assists on Sunday (Jan. 20). » CWPA Release
