LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Sophomores Jacob Moore and Cameron Bock of the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team earned medals during finals of the Winter Cup Challenge on Sunday (Feb. 17) at the South Point Hotel.
Moore's two-day score of 28.850 earned him a silver medal on floor exercise, while Bock marked a 27.600 on pommel horse for a bronze medal. Bock also posted top-six finishes on high bar (fifth, 27.150) and still rings (sixth, 27.100). The two-day score included marks from Friday night's (Feb. 15) preliminary session.
Senior Emyre Cole had a consistent two days of competition on floor exercise, scoring a 28.450 with a 14.200 coming on day two of competition.
Additionally, U-M alums Sam Mikulak (2011-14) and Adrian de los Angeles (2012-15) combined to win three events and six medals, with Mikulak winning both floor exercise (29.350) and high bar (29.600). De los Angeles took home the top honor on parallel bars, edging Mikulak with a 27.950 for his first gold medal at an elite national competition.
Mikulak, who finished a close second in the all-around competition Friday, also medaled on pommmel horse (second, 28.500), parallel bars (second, 27.850) and still rings (third, 28.050).
For the senior division, all-around rankings were determined on the first day of competition Friday. Individual event champions were named by combined two-day score.

The full Michigan squad will return to dual-meet action at No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday (Feb. 23) in Norman, Oklahoma. The matchup between U-M, ranked third in the country, and the Sooners will be the first dual meet of the season that features a pair of top-three teams.
