• Today's announced attendance of 112,071 marks the 293rd consecutive game at Michigan Stadium with a crowd in excess of 100,000.
• Michigan fell to 58-52-6 in the all-time series against Ohio State. The Buckeyes have claimed eight straight meetings and 15 of the last 16 in the series.
• Today's loss halted the Wolverines' home winning streak at 13 straight games, stretching back to the 2018 home opener. U-M's last loss at home was the 2017 regular-season finale, which Ohio State claimed by a 31-20 margin.
• Michigan posted 396 yards of total offense and 305 passing yards -- both the most allowed by Ohio State this season. The Buckeyes previously allowed 285 total yards and 218 passing yards to Michigan State on Oct. 5.
• Senior quarterback Shea Patterson completed 18 of 43 passes for 305 yards and one touchdown. He is the first quarterback in Michigan history to throw for 300 or more yards in three consecutive games. He threw for 384 against Michigan State and 366 against Indiana in the previous two games. His 1,055 total yards over that span is the most ever by a Michigan quarterback in a three-game window, eclipsing the 1,033 posted by Jake Rudock in 2015.
• Patterson now owns eight career games with at least 250 yards passing, tying him with Tom Brady for third most in Michigan history. Only Chad Henne (12) and John Navarre (11) have more.
• Patterson moved to eighth among Michigan's career passing yards leaders with 5,428. He passed Tom Brady (5,351, 1996-99) and needs just 21 more to reach the seventh spot, currently held by Jim Harbaugh (5,449, 1983-86). Patterson also moved to eighth with 669 career pass attempts, passing Steve Smith (648, 1980-83).
• Freshman wide receiver Giles Jackson scored his first collegiate rushing touchdown on a 22-yard run on the Wolverines' opening drive in the first quarter. It was Jackson's third career touchdown; he previously scored a receiving touchdown against Rutgers (Sept. 28) and kickoff return touchdown -- off the opening kick -- at Maryland (Nov. 2).
• Jackson is one of only two true freshmen at Michigan to score a touchdown via kick return, receiving and rushing in his first season. The other was Gil Chapman in 1972.
• Jackson scored the game's opening touchdown with 11:43 remaining in the first quarter. This is the quickest Michigan has scored against Ohio State since 2006, when the Wolverines took a 7-0 lead at the 12:32 mark of the first. Michigan scored multiple touchdowns in the first quarter against Ohio State for the first time since 2013.
• Senior tight end Sean McKeon registered a career-long 41-yard reception late in the first quarter. His previous long was a 36-yard catch against Michigan State in 2017.
• Junior wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones scored his sixth touchdown of the season -- and third in as many games -- on a 25-yard catch late in the first quarter. It was his longest touchdown catch of the season.
• Sophomore running back Hassan Haskins posted his fourth touchdown of the season on a two-yard rush in the fourth quarter. His 33-yard rush in the third quarter was the second-longest rushing attempt allowed by the Ohio State defense in 2019.
• Graduate student linebacker Jordan Glasgow and senior defensive tackle Michael Dwumfour combined for a four-yard sack in the first quarter. It was Dwumfour's first sack of the season, upping his career total to four, while Glasgow owns five sacks this season and seven in his career.
• Junior wide receiver Jake McCurry posted his first collegiate fumble recovery late in the third quarter. He previously recorded a forced fumble last season against Nebraska.
