• In the ninth game played between Michigan and Maryland, U-M improved to 8-1 all-time. This was the Wolverines' third trip to Maryland Stadium.
• Today's game was the fourth in a row in which U-M has racked up at least 300 yards of offense.
• Michigan has 884 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns over the last four games.
• Running back Zach Charbonnet's two rushing touchdowns set a record for most touchdowns by a freshman at Michigan with 11. Charbonnet entered the game tied with Mike Hart and Tyrone Wheatley at nine touchdowns.
• With 11 scores, Charbonnet now ranks among the highest-scoring players at Michigan under Jim Harbaugh. Only Karan Higdon (11, 2017) has had as many touchdowns in a single season during Harbaugh's tenure.
• Wide receiver Nico Collins' 51-yard catch in the second quarter made today's matchup his sixth game this season with at least one catch of 25 yards or longer, and his third game with a catch of 40 yards or more.
• Tru Wilson's third-quarter run of 39 yards marked a new career long. He finished the afternoon with five carries for 50 yards.
• Opponents have combined for 388 yards on 208 carries (1.86 yards per carry) over the last five games. U-M has allowed only one run of 20-plus yards in the last 24 quarters.
• Maryland had the second-most rushes of 30-plus yards in the Big Ten this season (12) entering the game, but U-M limited the Terps ballcarriers to a long run of 16 yards.
• No team has reached 300 yards of offense against U-M since Wisconsin in week three, including Maryland today.
• Josh Metellus intercepted his fifth career pass (and second this season) with two minutes remaining in the second quarter. It was the sixth interception this year by the U-M defense.
• Metellus had eight tackles at the half, equaling his career high. He finished the game with nine tackles to establish a new career mark.
• Josh Uche had 2.0 sacks in the first half, marking his second game this year with at least that number (had 3.0 at Illinois). Uche is up to 6.0 sacks over the last three weeks and has five multi-sack games in his career.
• Maryland had forced a turnover in 20 straight games entering this one, the longest streak in the nation, but Michigan played turnover-free football to end that pattern.
• Freshman Giles Jackson scored his first career kickoff return touchdown, a 97-yard score, on the opening kickoff. He is the first Wolverine to return the opening kick for a score since Jehu Chesson (96 yards vs. Northwestern) in 2015.
• When linebacker Michael Barrett carried the ball 14 yards for a first-down conversion on a fourth-down punting situation, it marked his second successful conversion this year. Barrett completed a 25-yard pass on a fake punt against Army to Daxton Hill.
• Quinn Nordin's successful conversion of a 38-yard field goal marked his first this season.
• Today's U-M win ended a three-year streak of wins in homecoming games for Maryland.
