TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Weather-related travel issues have delayed the No. 20-ranked University of Michigan softball team's opening game of the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge today (Friday, Feb. 16) when Notre Dame, the Wolverines' game-one opponent, was unable to make its flight into Tallahassee. Today's other ACC/Big Ten game between host Florida State and Minnesota will proceed as scheduled.
The tournament's Saturday (Feb. 17) schedule also remains unchanged. The Wolverines will face Notre Dame at 10 a.m. before taking on the eighth-ranked Seminoles at 5:30 p.m. at JoAnne Graf Field.
Michigan will look to make up the lost contest on Sunday (Feb. 18) and play Notre Dame at 10:30 a.m. before its regular-scheduled 12:30 p.m. slate against Florida State. Sunday's schedule has not been finalized and is still subject to change.
