
Pair of U-M Swimmers Take to Water at OLY Swimming Michigan Open

ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Sophomores Monica Babits and Jackie DeLoof of the No. 3-ranked University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team competed at the 2018 OLY Swimming Michigan Open on Saturday (Feb. 10), held at the Oakland University Aquatic Center.
Each swimmer took part in one race. Babits won the 100-yard butterfly (55.13), taking a second off her prelims time, while DeLoof was seventh in the 100-yard freestyle (52.78).
The two swimmers will be back in action tomorrow (Sunday, Feb. 11) for the final day of the OLY Swimming Michigan Open. Preliminaries begin at 8:30 a.m., with finals following at 6:30 p.m.
