Team Highlights
• Michigan had an exciting weekend during its trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin, as freshman Sarah Stratigakis helped U-M force overtime when she scored the game-tying goal with 11 seconds remaining, and the Wolverines earned a 2-2 draw. Michigan then went on to upset No. 9 Wisconsin, 2-1, when junior Reilly Martin scored the game-winning goal in the 96th minute.
• Michigan was 5-1-3 at U-M Soccer Stadium, giving the Wolverines a 52-6-11 record at home over the past six seasons and a 69-17-20 mark at home under coach Ryan.
• Michigan faced a challenging schedule, playing six ranked opponents and nine teams ranked in the top 50 of the final 2017 RPI. U-M finished the season ranked No. 20 in strength of schedule according to HERO Sports and No. 34 by the NCAA.
• As a team, Michigan allowed just one goal a game and posted five shutouts, including a scoreless draw against No. 17 Wake Forest.
• Michigan went to overtime seven times during the regular season, tying the 2003 and 2006 teams for the most overtime matches during the regular-season schedule. The Wolverines did not lose an overtime match, going 1-0-6 in those games.
• Michigan's freshman class was ranked No. 6 in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer. Stratigakis led all newcomers with three goals and five assists. Stratigakis, Nicki Hernandez, Alia Martin, Lauren Long and Hillary Beall each made consistent appearances in the starting lineup, with Stratigakis starting all 18 matches.



Individual Highlights
• Four players represented Michigan on the All-Big Ten team. Stratigakis and senior/junior Taylor Timko earned second-team honors, while Martin and senior Sarah Jackson were selected to the third team. Stratigakis was also named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
• Senior goalkeepers Jackson and Megan Hinz closed out their Michigan careers on multiple top-10 career lists in U-M's record book. Jackson is second all-time in goals-against average (0.94), second in save percentage (.836), eighth in saves (147), tied for eighth in wins (12) and ninth in shutouts (8.4), while Hinz is fourth all-time in goals-against average (0.97), sixth in wins (25), seventh in shutouts (11.4), and ninth in saves (125).
• Sophomore Brooke Cilley tied a program record for assists in a game, when she tallied three in a win over Idaho State (Aug. 20). Cilley had a combined four assists in U-M's first two games of the season and helped the Wolverines record two shutouts, which earned her Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors.
• Stratigakis earned Big Ten weekly honors twice during her first season in Maize and Blue. She scored one goal in each of Michigan's first two games of the season, which earned Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week honors. Later in the season, she had a hand in three of U-M's four goals (one goals, two assists) on a road trip that featured a draw with Minnesota and an overtime win over No. 9 Wisconsin.
• Timko was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District Five second team selection, earning all-district honors for the second time in her career. As a defender, the biology major finished third on the team in points with 10, on four goals and two assists.
• Martin led Michigan with six goals and five assists, which upped her a totals to 15 goals and 20 assists through three seasons. She ranks tied for sixth on U-M's all-time career assists list with one season to go.
