
Wolverines, Eagles Square Up for Sunday Scrimmage

» The Wolverines will return numerous letterwinners from last spring, including 15 of 23 athletes from the 2017 NCAA Championships lineup.
» The Wolverines are coming off a third-place NCAA Championships finish, where they qualified all three competing boats for the Grant Final for the first time since 2001.
» After this weekend, U-M will enter a week free of competition before hosting Ohio State on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Sunday, Sept. 17 -- vs. Eastern Michigan (Belleville Lake), 9 a.m.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan rowing team will begin its fall season with a multi-piece scrimmage with Eastern Michigan on Sunday (Sept. 17) at Belleville Lake.
The two programs will launch at 9 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. scheduled start. There will be four pieces, each at the 3,000-meter distance.
The scrimmage marks the first of five fall dates for the Wolverines. U-M will welcome Ohio State to town on Sunday, Oct. 1, before hosting novice events with Eastern and with Michigan State. The prestigious Head of the Charles will take place between those two events, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 22.
