
Michigan to Begin Fall Season on Sunday

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan rowing team will start its fall season with a scrimmage workout with Eastern Michigan on Sunday (Sept. 18) at Belleville Lake.
The two schools will launch at 8:20 a.m. for a 9 a.m. scheduled start. There will be three varsity racing pieces that will each be 3k in length.
The first 3k race will start at the bridges and finish at the boathouse. The two teams will turn and then race back to the bridges at 9:20 a.m. for the second race. The final of the three races will begin at 9:40 a.m. and finish back at the boathouse.
The scrimmage will be the first of four fall dates that also include races at Ohio State on Sunday, Oct. 2, the Head of the Charles on Sunday, Oct. 23, and at Michigan State (novice only) on Saturday, Oct. 29.
