• Michigan finishes the season 10-3, marking two straight 10-win seasons under J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family head coach Jim Harbaugh.
• U-M falls to 1-2 all-time against Florida State, with the most-recent matchup before today coming in 1991.
• Tonight's game marked the 45th bowl game appearance for the Maize and Blue all-time. Michigan is among the top teams in the FBS in both bowl game appearances (11th) and bowl wins (15th).
• Four of Michigan's 11 native Floridians played in today's game: Devin Bush, Mason Cole, Eddie McDoom and Josh Metellus. Metellus started his first career game, filling in at linebacker for Jabrill Peppers.
• Freshman running back Chris Evans scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:57 remaining on a 30-yard scamper, his fourth touchdown on the ground this year.
• In finishing three-for-three on the day in field goals, Kenny Allen has finished his career at 37-for-45, an 82.2-percent clip, just short of passing Bob Bergeron (29-of-35; 82.9 percent) as Michigan's all-time most accurate field goal kicker (minimum of 15 attempts).
• Michigan finishes the season with 534 points scored, No. 5 all-time ahead of the 1905 unit, and trailing only the 1901-1904 point-a-minute teams.
• Senior fullback Khalid Hill's fourth-quarter receiving touchdown marked his 13th of the year (10 rushing, 3 receiving), the most by any Wolverine.
• Senior wide receiver Amara Darboh finishes his career with at least one catch in 33 straight games, the fourth-longest streak in program history. Jeremy Gallon owns the record at 39 consecutive games.
• Junior tight end Ian Bunting match his career high in catches (two) and neared his career high in yards (30, best is 33) in tonight's game.
• Senior defensive end Taco Charlton recorded one sack in tonight's game, extending his streak to five consecutive games with at least half a sack. He finishes his career with 19 sacks, tied for ninth most in U-M history.
• Senior kicker Kenny Allen was a perfect three-for-three on his field goal tries, coming one shy of the program record for most consecutive field goals made (16). He also closes his career a perfect 95-for-95 on point-after attempts, tied with 10 others atop the program charts.
• Kenny Allen's first-quarter punt that produced a turnover measured 61 yards, the second-longest kick of his career. He registered a 67-yard punt at Ohio State.
• When senior safety Dymonte Thomas recovered the fumbled punt off the foot of Kenny Allen, it marked the 18th turnover generated by U-M this season (12 interceptions, six fumbles). It marks the second involving Thomas, who tallied his first career interception against Illinois.
• Senior linebacker Mike McCray's interception returned for a touchdown marks the team's 19th turnover of the year. It is McCray's second career interception and the third pick-six by the Wolverines this season (Hill, Stribling against Hawaii).
• Senior cornerback Channing Stribling recorded his 17th pass breakup of the season in the third quarter, maintaining his position as fourth among U-M's all-time single-season leaders. He needs one more to tie for the second spot, currently shared by Marlin Jackson (18, 2002) and Leon Hall (18, 2006).
• Junior defensive tackle Maurice Hurst recorded a third-quarter sack to give him 4.5 on the season and 7.5 in his career.
• Freshman linebacker Josh Metellus returned Chris Wormley's blocked PAT in the final minutes of regulation to pull U-M within one, his first career points scored.
