PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team completed action at the ITA All-American on Saturday (Oct. 8) as the doubles pair of sophomore Brienne Minor and Mira Ruder-Hook fell in the semifinals of the doubles backdraw of the national event at the Riviera Tennis Club.
Minor and Ruder-Hook picked up one victory in California, winning their first doubles consolation match to advance to the semifinals. It was the first fall action for the pair, which is ranked No. 4 by the ITA.
In addition to the doubles pairing, sophomore Kate Fahey participated in the singles qualifying draw. Fahey rallied for a pair of three-set wins in the first two rounds but fell one victory short of qualifying for the main draw.
Michigan is back in action next weekend (Oct. 14-16), hosting the Wolverine Invitational at the Varsity Tennis Center.
