The 14th-ranked University of Michigan men's cross country team will conclude the 2016 regular season in nearby Dexter, Michigan, this weekend at the familiar site of Hudson Mills Metropark. The team will compete in the EMU Fall Classic, a 5,000-meter non-scored event. It will be Michigan's second trip to Hudson Mills this fall and the first since the season opener
This year's edition of the race will feature athletes from several different Division I programs, including a number of in-state challengers, but the highlights are the Wolverines and No. 27-ranked EMU Eagles.
The men's race is set for a 5 p.m. gun immediately following the 4:30 women's race.
Michigan's entries include: Kevin Hall, Ben Hill, Garrett McPeek, Brennan Munley, Matt Plowman, Keenan Rebera and Ryan Wilkie. Several other athletes will compete unattached.

THINGS TO KNOW
Michigan is returning to Hudson Mills Metropark for the fifth time in the last three seasons and the second time this fall.
This weekend's race will provide a valuable comparison point for athletes who ran this same race to open the season, providing a clear opportunity to measure improvement.
Last weekend, U-M stepped up on the big stage and earned a fourth-place finish at the adidas Pre-Nationals meet in Terre Haute, Indiana. For the third time in his three races, Aaron Baumgarten led the lineup with an eighth-place finish, and co-captain Connor Mora also had a top-15 finish to bolster scoring.
Michigan was rewarded for that performance with the biggest rise in the polls by any ranked program last week. The Wolverines rose to No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region and No. 14 in the nation in the USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll.
Under head coach Kevin Sullivan, U-M has recorded top-four finishes in eight of nine scored meets dating to the 2014 season.
With the Big Ten Championships looming and a title to defend, much of U-M's varsity lineup will be on rest this weekend and will not compete in Dexter.
