TOLEDO, Ohio -- The University of Michigan men's tennis team continued fall action over the weekend (Fri-Sat., Sept. 30-Oct. 1), sending four Wolverines to compete in the Rocket Invitational at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts.
Senior Kevin Wong was 2-0 on both the singles and doubles court, teaming with sophomore Gabe Tishman for a pair of doubles matches. Tishman picked up a singles win on Friday afternoon to go with his two doubles wins.
Freshman Connor Johnston made his collegiate debut, teaming with senior Tyler Gardiner for a 2-0 mark in doubles to go with a win on the singles court on Saturday (Oct. 1). Gardiner also won his singles match on Saturday as all four Wolverines in action picked up at least one singles victory.
The Maize and Blue continues fall action this week, beginning on Oct. 3, at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
